The students are encouraged to bring out their various skills through the school magazine 'Anik'. Extra -curricular activities consists of coaching in Bharatha natyam , karate, yoga,chess , craft, music, abacus, spoken Hindi. Students are encouraged to develop their knowledge through various club activities such as quiz , health , humour,courtesy, Eco-friendly clubs.

Students are encouraged to interact in the English Literary Association & Tamil Literary Association. AKMS is also part of the national & international organisations such as Veera Vanchi Scout Troop, Junior Red Cross, National Green Corps, Red Ribbon Club.
